Studi Penggunaan Obat Pada penderita Gagal Ginjal Kronik Dengan Komplikasi Infeksi (Penelitian Pada Pasien Rawat Inap Di Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya)


Chronic renal failure has recently been recognized as a public health problem. Infectious complication were a major cause of death on CRF Patient. Patient with end stage renal disease are at an increased risk of infection for three main reason: malnutrition, decreased immune function, and invasion of the skin and other integument for the purpose of placing dialysis catheter and performing hemodialysis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the drug utilization in CRF patients with infectious complication who were hospitalized during 1" May until 31" December 2005 (n=29). by using retrospective method. Results then compared with textbook or guideline. The result showed that the general profile of therapy include antibiotic : ciprofloxacin (27,78%), cefotaxim (24,07%), ampicillin (12,96%), other drugs used for treatment to control blood pressure, hyperkalemia, acidosis metabolic, gastrointestinal disturbance, hyperuricemia and other symptom, clinical manifestation and comorbid disease. Drug related problem were found dosage too high (52,78%), potential drug interaction (47,22%), patiet get wrong drug (0,9%), and patient need additional drug therapy (0,9%).
